The first 17 years were in operations, maintenance, and reliability for several refineries and chemical plants and the past 18 years were focused on APM and Reliability consulting.  He is considered one of the leading APM and change management consultants with a unique background of working in both operations and maintenance along with consulting. Bob Francis has over 25 years in the reliability, maintenance, and asset performance fields and joined the staff of RelaibilityWeb.com as a Sr Reliability Leader after having held key executive roles with leading software providers and prominent research firms focused on industrial technology and digital transformation. Bob's primary responsibility is leading the Industrial Trends and Insights Research Program, but has been an integral part of the Reliabilityweb.com community from its early days as part of the Reliability Leadership Institute (RLI) and as a founding member of The Association for Asset Management Professionals (AMP). Before joining Reliabilityweb.com, he served as a Research Analyst and Advisor at LNS Research. His academic credentials include an MBA from LeTourneau University with concentrations in Marketing and Management and executive education in Business Analytics and Big Data from Harvard Business School. Outside of work in industrial software, Bob is a frequent guest lecturer on business, leadership, and communications at Grand Canyon University. Bob has also lectured at the University of Tennessee and the Texas A&M Mays School of Business.
